NTO on New Album NAKED: Finding Balance Beyond the Stage

French producer Anthony Favier, known as NTO, has spent more than two decades building a career that includes international tours, major festivals, and collaborations across electronic music. In his new interview with EDM Identity, he describes how reaching one professional milestone after another did not always bring the lasting sense of fulfillment he expected.

That realization led him to make more room for life outside music: time with family, quiet, and the simple pleasure of finding a melody in the studio. NTO says that slowing down helped him reconnect with himself and, in turn, made it easier to bring a more personal voice to his work.

Those ideas run through NAKED, an album shaped in part by grief and the loss of his father. One track, “Fior Di Macchia,” grew from discovering his father’s artwork, lyrics, and musical sketches. NTO also points to “Monday” and “Solo Yo” as different expressions of joy and solitude, both tied to finding balance.
